Another bead made early on and of which I cannot remember the colours used. Obviously transparent green and ivory on a Black base. Perhaps a touch of... nah, can't even guess as to what that is...

These beads are made on a White base, with dots of Rubino Oro around the equator and Ink Blue around the edges. All melted in, then Pink dots placed on top of the Rubino and heated until the reaction happens.

All Effetre glass.

(Thanks for this recipe goes to a lady on LE.)

Charms received from AGBG Lampwork Charmed Flowers Exchange - Sept 2008170 viewsMy first bracelet. It ended up a little larger than I meant, so I will have to redo it.

One of the charms, - a large flower - has been designated to feature in a Sterling Silver wire wrapped ring. Will post a pic when it is done.

Davy_Jones_Locker_bracelet.JPG
Beading Forum Challenge #20 - Davy Jones Locker. 10th March to 25th May 2008.94 viewsI wanted this bracelet to signify lost treasures, so when I came across the Hematite flower components that had once belonged to another bracelet, I knew immediately that they had to be a part of this piece.
They signify treasures that were lost, but occasionally, can become found.
The Hematite hearts signify the hearts of those who were lost, while the sterling rounds speak of the arms of their loved ones embracing them.
The chain and huge clasp signify the bondage that the sea, & Davy Jones, has on them.
